Appliance Condition Guide

At Value Hunt, we sell liquidation appliances across a range of conditions. Each unit is described as accurately as possible. We encourage you to review product photos and ask questions before purchasing.

All items are sold as-is. Cosmetic condition varies by unit. Replacement may be offered within 7 days if the item does not work, subject to availability and inspection.

New

The appliance is brand new, unused, and in original factory condition. May still be in original packaging. No cosmetic defects.

Open Box

The appliance has been opened but is unused or minimally used. It may have been a display unit, a customer return, or removed from packaging for inspection. Cosmetic condition is generally excellent. Original packaging may not be included.

Minor Dent

The appliance is fully functional with one or more small cosmetic dents. Dents are minor and typically located on a side panel or less visible area. Does not affect performance.

Major Dent

The appliance has one or more significant cosmetic dents. Dents may be visible from the front or sides. The appliance is fully functional. Priced to reflect the cosmetic condition.

Scratch & Dent

The appliance has visible scratches, scuffs, or dents from handling, storage, or transit. Fully functional. Cosmetic imperfections are present and vary by unit. Review product photos carefully before purchasing.

Overstock

New or unused appliances that were excess inventory from a retailer or distributor. May be in original packaging. No cosmetic defects in most cases.

Salvage

The appliance has significant cosmetic damage or may have a known functional issue. Salvage units are sold strictly as-is with no replacement guarantee. Suitable for parts, repair projects, or buyers who are comfortable with the described condition. Please read the product description carefully.

Clearance

Appliances marked for clearance are being sold at a reduced price to move remaining inventory. Condition varies — may be any of the above grades. Review the individual product listing for details.
