Appliance Condition Guide

Value Hunt sells appliances across multiple condition grades. Each listing specifies the condition grade available for that unit. Not every product is available in every condition grade. Review the individual product listing, selected condition, photos, and details carefully before arranging pickup or delivery.

Condition Grades

1. New

Factory-sealed or unused unit in original packaging. No cosmetic damage.

2. Open Box

Unit has been opened or returned. May show minor signs of handling. Functionality is expected to be intact. Review the listing for details specific to the unit.

3. Minor Dent

Unit has one or more small cosmetic dents or marks. Functionality is not affected. Cosmetic imperfections vary by unit.

4. Major Dent

Unit has one or more significant cosmetic dents. Functionality is not affected. Review listing photos for the specific unit.

5. Scratch & Dent

Unit has visible scratches, dents, or cosmetic damage. Sold for its functional value. Cosmetic condition varies by unit.

6. Overstock

New or unused unit from excess inventory. May or may not be in original packaging. Review the listing for details.

7. Salvage / Clearance

Unit is sold for parts, repair, or as-is at a reduced price. Functionality is not guaranteed. Review the listing carefully before purchasing.

Important: Review Before You Buy

Some product options are labelled "Dented". The amount and location of cosmetic damage vary by unit; confirm the specific unit's photos and details with us before ordering.

Pickup

Pickup location: 1740 Argentia Road, Unit A, Mississauga, ON L5N 3K3.

Pickup is by confirmed appointment only. Value Hunt is not a walk-in retail store. Contact us to confirm availability and schedule your pickup time slot before visiting.

General pickup availability: Tuesday to Friday 11 AM – 7 PM, Saturday to Sunday 12 PM – 7 PM, Monday closed.

Delivery

Scheduled paid delivery is available. There is no free delivery and no free shipping. Contact us to confirm delivery availability, pricing, and timing.

Returns & Peace of Mind

We want you to take home an item that works.

Report a functional problem within 7 calendar days of pickup or delivery, even if we tested the item beforehand. We will help check the issue and arrange a return if a functional fault is confirmed.

Replacement first, refund if needed: we will offer a suitable replacement. If none is available, we will refund the amount paid for the returned item.

Final sale: change-of-mind purchases and cosmetic marks disclosed before purchase are excluded. This does not remove your functional-fault protection.

A 1-year warranty, where included in the product listing, remains separate from this initial return window.
